The Paneless cancellation policy requires at least 72-hour notification prior to service. Failure to provide a proper notice will result in a cancellation fee.
Cleaning services less than or equal to $250.00 will incur a fee of $25.00. Services totaling more than $250.00 will incur a fee of 10% of the total services on schedule. This cancellation policy is in place to help us keep our schedules full so our team can rely on steady work. In turn, this allows you to build trust with techs you can trust.
Cancellations for true emergencies will be left to the discretion of the Paneless team. Prior last minute cancellations are taken into account.
Paneless uses environmentally safe products. Our solutions are biodegradable, eco-friendly, and safe for children, plants, and pets. Paneless is designated as a good steward by SoftWash Systems certification program. This program teaches how to divert, dilute, and neutralize various products. Additionally, Paneless carries MSDS sheets for every product we stock.
In addition to environmentally safe products, Paneless uses purified water in window cleaning and floor cleaning services. Purified, or RO water, is the safest cleaning agent available with no dyes, additives, smells, or residue left behind.
There are some specialty cleaning services that require the use of harsher substances. For example, window restoration uses acid treatments. How long will my carpets take to dry?
Dry Times for Carpet Cleaning
Dry time for carpet cleaning is typically thirty minutes to two hours. This time may be extended if carpet fiber protection is applied.
Paneless uses a steam cleaning extraction method for carpet cleaning, and it will leave your carpets damp, not wet. For example, the room we start in is typically almost dry as we leave.
In addition, we have industrial grade fans we place in your home to speed up dry times.
Protectant Extends Time
If you decide to use protectant, and it is recommended, it takes a few hours to dry and depends greatly on the temperature and humidity of your home. Please avoid walking on it as much as possible. We suggest reapplying protectant after every two or three cleanings, or once per year.
Please note, doors open and fans on aid air circulation during and after cleaning for faster drying.
Paneless invests in the best equipment on the market bringing you the fastest dry time for carpet cleaning. We are happy to explain our process in a private consultation.
How long does sealing natural stone take?
Naturalstone sealing will generally need six-eight hours before walking on it and twenty four to seventy two hours to completely cure.
Grout Only
For ceramic tile and groutsealing, plan to not walk on freshly sealed grout for thirty minutes to one hour. Taking careful steps to make sure you stay on the tile is okay. Grout sealer will fully cure in twenty-four hours.
Stone Must Be Dry for Sealing
Outdoor natural stone needs to be dry before application and must stay dry for twenty-four hours after we apply sealer. We will keep the weather in mind when scheduling sealer applications.
Paneless has several sealers both topical and penetrating. We do both indoor and outdoor sealing. Please verify with your tech how long to wait before your sealed areas should be wet or walked on. This can mean turning sprinklers off, adjusting pool sweeps, or showering in an alternate bathroom for one day.
What is the bad weather and rain policy?
Due to the ever-changing Texas weather, the Paneless bad weather and rain policy is to play most days by ear.
If the weather is predicting 80-100 % rain or below freezing temps, our office will call you the day before to discuss rescheduling options. When the weather is showing less than 80% or scattered, we sometimes wait until the morning of to see what happens. If it is actively raining, we call you to reschedule exterior cleaning services. When temps are 32 degrees or below we must reschedule as water will freeze during cleaning.
Interior Cleanings
We do try to complete as much interior cleaning as possible, especially in busy season when it is easier to reschedule exterior only. However, if icy roads are in question we reschedule to keep our team safe.
Rain In Future Forecast
Rain is often a dilemma when selling your home. Some struggle with knowing rain is eminent but need windows clean before pictures and showings. Scheduling and your deadlines mixed with rain can be a real dilemma. Our standard answer is, “a clean window rained on looks better than a dirty one rained on.”
Impending rain in the forecast does not affect our ability to wash roofs, houses, or exterior stone.
Floor Cleaning
Floor cleaning is based on the severity of the weather. Most do not like hoses or individuals in and out during bad weather, we evaluate this on a case-by-case basis. Icy roads would prohibit our trucks safely making it to your home.
Our rain policy includes a 30 day rain warranty for first time customers and all recurring customers.
What is the rain warranty and who qualifies?
Paneless offers an unmatched thirty day rain warranty. This is a perk for recurring window cleaning customers who take part in our maintenance program. We also offer a rain warranty to first-time customers so they experience one of the benefits of our maintenance program.
Warranty Details
The rain warranty covers exposed glass only. We do not remove screens. In addition, we do not clean areas that rain should not reach like covered porches or overhangs. We do make some exceptions if a strong storm has come through.
Usually, only one side of a home spots. Please let us know which windows need attention. We ask that you identify the windows because this is a free service and we want to ensure that a touch-up is needed.
The way we clean windows often limits future spotting from rain. Cleaning the framework and screens help keep dirt at bay. Of course, a storm or trees near windows are more likely to spot them.
This warranty does not cover pool sweeps, pest services, or anything other than rain that may spot windows.
This unmatched warranty is good for thirty days from the day of service. The touch-up must be requested, it is not automatic. Lastly, the original service must be paid for before touch-ups are scheduled.
Do you power wash windows?
Never power wash windows. Please avoid anyone who does. Power washers can have very high psi and tips that enhance their effects. In truth, power washing refers to heated water whereas pressure washing uses cold water with pressure. Neither is a good window cleaning solution. A professional would not power wash windows or try to scare customers with this verbage.
What customers are typically referring to when asking this question is RO technology. Purified water is fed through a pole at a light stream of 4psi. There is a brush on the end that is used to scrub and then rinse windows. This system is as harmless as rain hitting a window. It cleans streak free, flushes window frames better than clenaing by hand, and dries spot free. Additionally, it leaves no residue behind so windows stay clean longer. Companies who have not invested in this technology, or don’t understand it tend to downplay the benefits.

How often should I clean my windows?
How often should I clean my windows? The recommendation can vary by preference and conditions surrounding your home or business.
Minimum Schedule
Paneless recommends homeowners schedule their exterior window cleaning at least twice a year. This prevents build-up on the windows from air pollution, hardwater from sprinklers, minerals from pool water, or even bird feces. In addition, it provides added benefits including discounts, reminders, priority scheduling, and a rain warranty.
Some customers prefer a sparkling view all year long and we recommend a quarterly schedulefor this. if you have large trees or live near a highway, we can work out a monthly schedule for the windows most important to you.
Interior Cleaning Needed?
Interior window cleaning is generally once per year. However, variables like smoking, pets, and children can effect the need. Please use this helpful tip to determine if interior window cleaning is due. Draw an x with your finger. If you can see the x, the inside is dusty and is ready for cleaning.
Please see our Maintenance Program for more information, options, and recommendations for each of the services we provide.
Do you use a rain protectant?
No, Paneless does not use rain protectant. With many years of experience and product testing and evaluation, we strongly recommend high-end window solutions that make windows hydrophilic. The next best solution is RO technology, that leaves no residue behind.
Diluted Scam
Some companies are squirting rain-x in their bucket of water and claiming the clean will last longer. Rain- x beads up and works with the velocity of the wind, it is designed to make windows hydrophobic for use on windshields. Since home windows are stationary, this is not a good solution. Rain-x does make a product designed to work with home windows though it appears to aim for hydrophobic results. Don’t fall for the diluted product in a bucket trick.
The best way to prevent spotting is by thoroughly cleaning framework, so dirt will not be redeposited onto windows from rain.
True Sealing
There is a true sealing process for windows. However, it is time consuming and will cost much more than a routine window cleaning. It will involve applying a sealer or coating and buffing it off. This is most often used for windows that have had calcium removed and you are trying to protect a window from etching. Calcium will still deposit, but it will not etch into glass. This is often done for windows subject to pool sweeps and sprinklers.
Does Paneless do partials?
The answer is yes, Paneless does partial window cleaning. However, there are a couple of qualifying factors we must consider.
Easily Defined Partials
First, an acceptable partial for window cleaning is something easily defined. For example, all downstairs only or back windows facing the pool. The scope of work needs to be specific and not sporadic.
We refrain from doing selected windows in various rooms of the house. This is to ensure correct pricing and to avoid confusion when scheduling future services. Additionally, we need the scope of work easily defined to save our techs from confusion and callbacks.
Job Minimum for Window Cleaning
Secondly, any partial must meet the current job minimum in order to schedule.
RO technology is reverse osmosis water that is filtered through a five-stage process. This process removes all total dissolved solids and chlorine that cause water to spot or dry hard because of minerals. Since the water is pure, it acts as a cleaning agent itself. Water loves minerals so when we remove those minerals, it wants them back. We refer to it as thirsty water. So ask yourself, what is in soil? Minerals. Now you have water that wants minerals. So we use this RO water to adsorb the soil on a window or floor surfaces. This RO water is incorporated into the majority of the services we provide.
